The type of holiday you're embarking on will naturally dictate what you need to pack. Will you be lounging on a beach in Italy, trekking a mountain trail in Switzerland, or catching waves in Bali? Or perhaps you're opting for a closer-to-home weekend camping trip in the countryside?

While the specifics are up to you - you likely know if you need a wetsuit, ski jacket, or sturdy pair of wellies - there are some essential pieces that prove handy for many destinations.

We've curated a selection of technical garments designed to excel in diverse environments, as well as more casual yet versatile basics for those moments between adrenaline rushes. The aim? Going the distance with as little extra stuff as possible!

Outer Layers

There are three essential outer layers, each with their own purpose: one to wear during your outdoor expeditions, one for easy hotel and pool lounging, and a hoodie for whenever you need to be cosy in between.
